STOP PASTORAL ABUSE WELCOMES YOU

At Stop Pastoral Abuse, we are unyielding in our commitment to expose and eradicate the rampant abuse and heretical teachings within the Independent Fundamental Baptist (IFB) movement. Guided by our core values of victim advocacy, human rights, deconstruction, inclusivity, and evidence-based action, we tirelessly work to reform Statutes of Limitations across all states and advocate for marginalized groups.

Our platform serves as a safe space where individuals of all races, religions, and sexual orientations can find the resources they need for healing, personal growth, and community reform. We understand the devastating impact of these atrocities and are committed to dismantling the walls of silence that have long protected abusers.

Our mission serves as a clarion call to church abuse survivors, pastors, church members, lawmakers, and the general public to join us in this vital struggle for justice, legislative change, and accountability.

Please keep our organization in your prayers as we fight the rampant systematic abuse, racism and share church abuse survivor stories from churches around the world.

STOP PASTORAL ABUSE AT A GLANCE

Founded in 2009, Stop Pastoral Abuse is a beacon of justice and accountability, echoing the biblical call to 'Open thy mouth for the dumb in the cause of all such as are appointed to destruction' (Proverbs 31:8, KJV). Our mission is guided by core values such as victim advocacy, human rights, inclusivity, and evidence-based action.

Our initiatives focus on unmasking abusers and advocating for enhanced child protection measures, fulfilling the mandate to 'have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them' (Ephesians 5:11, KJV). We are committed to exposing and eradicating abuse, reforming Statutes of Limitations, and advocating for marginalized groups.

We stand on the Truth revealed through God's Word, as 'thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path' (Psalm 119:105, KJV). We staunchly oppose the legalistic and anti-biblical views propagated by the IFB church, adhering instead to the biblical principle that 'God is not the author of confusion, but of peace' (1 Corinthians 14:33, KJV).

While we acknowledge that not all IFB churches are part of this harmful movement, we emphasize that silence and complacency contribute to the larger problem, as 'he that justifieth the wicked, and he that condemneth the just, even they both are abomination to the LORD' (Proverbs 17:15, KJV).

Our platform serves as a safe space where individuals can find the resources they need for healing, personal growth, and community reform. We advocate for the establishment of trained review boards for the independent evaluation of abuse allegations, aligning with the biblical call to 'judge righteous judgment' (John 7:24, KJV).

Together, we can make a difference. Join us in our vital struggle for justice, legislative change, and accountability, as we strive to 'do justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with thy God' (Micah 6:8, KJV).

"You are not what happened to you; you are what you make yourself to be."
